EyeOpenerTours Booking Process 

    How to book? 

     We have two wings for flying on our booking course; one to use when a pre-defined tour from the EOT List meets your need, the other when you would like to make some changes.

   These choices go with a booking that require advance payment of only 20% of the total price.

   Of course, our booking bird has also a head, for when you would like to choose sites not included in our Tour List (a customized Private Tour); and a tail, for when your choice coincide with an online-booking Group Tour from our monthly Schedule.

   Choosing a tour scheduled for online booking cost less, but require advance payment of the total price. PLEASE NOTE: We will reply as quickly as possible to your enquiry, usually the same day or within 48 hours. Note also that taxes are always included in the booking prices! 

   To start with, lets take the booking bird by the tail!

  If you like the listed tour and you find it Scheduled for online booking at a suitable date:

1.     Click on the "Add to Cart" link and complete the simple form.   Your email address is required, but a phone is optional at this stage (we will need it at the time of contacting  you in Rome).  After confirmation, our system send you an email with short description of the items booked.  Now you have just placed an order on our site, but you need to continue on the PayPal checkout page to pay for it: it will not be considered until it is properly completed! (Tours booked online are set at a dicounted price per pax with full advance payment) 
2.      Proceed to the PayPal page and enter payment information at our secure online payment facility, where your credit card can be charged. questions about PalPal?   After confirmation from PayPal, we will contact you in person via email, with a reminder about your tour and details on how to meet the Guide.'*' (for Vatican Tours only, we will need to ask names of each participant for booking with the Vatican Office).

  When the tour from our List meets your need but is not Scheduled at a convenient time,

  -or if you prefer a Classic Tour in a smaller group or just on your own: 

1.    Click on the “Book this Tour” icon to e-mail your booking. Please confirm your e-mail address and contact in Rome (Hotel or Mobile no). Then the Tour of your choice, date and no. of pax. (for Vatican Tours only, we will need to have names of each participant before booking).
2.    We will soon send you our availability and, if our Tour description page does not have an Add-to-caddy button, we will send you instructions on how to pay. You will use our PayPal system, where you can quickly & securely pay with your C / Cards (0r if you prefer we'll send you details for receiving a Bank Transfer from you -much too longer, 5 days or more before we can confirm receip!)   
3. On receipt of payment (20% of the total sum) we will confirm with a reminder on how to meet the Guide.'*'

  When you would like to customize a Classic Tour with a few changes of your own:

1.     Click on the “Seek Changes” icon to email directly to Gabriella Fiorucci your requirements (of course this is not possible for online bookings!)  Please confirm your email address and she will reply quickly with her advise. Contact in Rome (Hotel or Mobile no) is not immediately needed, but of course to know date, no. of pax. and where you are planning to stay might help Gabriella to review & finalize the tour through a few messages to/from you. Then she will provide you with a quote for the itinerary of your liking. (Note: tour guides may not be able to accommodate all changes requests; normally only places in the EOT Classic List can be added)
2.     You can accept, decline or request further changes. When you agree to the provided availability, she will send instructions on how to pay via PayPal secured site for Cr. Cards  (0r if you prefer she'll send you details for a bank transfer from you -much too longer, 5 days or more before she can confirm).  For Vatican Tours only, she will need the names of each participant in order to book at the Vatican Office;  for all tours please provide her at this point with your contact in Rome (Hotel or Mobile no).   
3.     On receipt of payment (20% of the total sum) she will confirm with a reminder on how to meet her or the appointed Guide'*' in Rome.  

  If you are attracted to places not in our Classic List, for a personalized

                        Private Tour experience:

1.      Click on the “Write to us” icon to email directly to Gabriella Fiorucci your requirements.   Contact in Rome (Hotel or Mobile no) is not immediately needed, but please confirm your email address and she will reply quickly with her advise. Of course to know date, no. of pax. and where you are planning to stay will help Gabriella to review & finalize your proposals through a few messages to/from you. Then she will provide you with a quote for the itinerary of your liking. (Note: tour guides may not be able to accommodate all tours requests, but they will be warmly considered).
2.      You can accept, decline or request further changes. When you agree to the provided availability, the process will continue exactly as in the previous "Seek changes" stage  -except the differences  in  itinerary and price, but.. Vive la difference!  

  Please note: We will reply as quickly as possible to your enquiry,

  usually the same day or within 48 hours.

-Note also that taxes are always included in the booking price! 

-- Scheduled Tours do not require reservation fee, but all bookings must reach us at

 least one week before the tour date.  Later reservations might be accepted according to availability '**'

and only through e-mail contact (as if not Scheduled) and will attract a fee of 20% on top of the tour price.

For Vatican Tours note that it will not be possible to book if names of all participants are not received

at least 4 days in advance or more, depending on the season!.

Notes:

   '*' After the payment is confirmed (by PayPal or otherwise),  you will receive an e-mail with confirmation of the booking and tour information.  It may also be possible to have a refund based on reduced entrance fee at some museums,  for children aged between 6 and 16 years, or for students aged no more than 25 years  and able to present a student identity card on the day of the tour. 

 Cancellation Policy:

     In the unlikely event Eye Opener Tours is obliged to cancel  any date due to unforeseeable circumstances, the amount paid will be refunded in full.  Clients will be informed well in advance.  On the contrary, cancellations received from the client at least 7 days prior to scheduled tour  will be refunded less a  € 4.00  cancellation fee per transaction.  Later cancellations, no-show to tour meeting points, late arrivals, will not be refunded. Clients are responsible to find their way to meeting points.

 Is my information safe?

    Your privacy is important to us. We protect any confidential information you give us. We only use the personal details required for booking purposes, and do not share, rent or sell your details to anyone else.
