Capitoline Museums Guided Tour 

 

"Veni, Vidi, Vici"  -- I came, I saw... I loved it!

The oldest museums in the world, housing the She-Wolf and the Equestrian Statue of Marcus Aurelius.  The collection was started by Pope Sixtus IV as early as the 15th century.  We will also enjoy the breathtaking view of the Roman Forum from the Tabularium (State Archive).   A must-see for lovers of ancient Rome!

N.B.  This tour of ca. 3 hrs that does NOT include the entrance fee of  € 6.50 per pax.

 

Meet:  in the middle of the Capitol Square,  by the equestrian statue.  The guide will hold an Eye Opener Tour sign. Capitoline  Museums are closed on Monday.

As a Classic Tour this is available every day except on Saturday pm. and when the same is Scheduled at a reduced price.  Time slots: 9 or 10 am;  4 or 5 pm.

Four week advance reservation brings forth a discount.

Price per tour varies according to number of participants:

1-2 pax € 183, 3-4 pax € 260,

then +€ 62 for every other person up to 15.

 

Please book with 20% of price and according to no. of participants you are reserving for

(i.e. if more then 4 pax, consider 20% of € 260 +62  for every other pax) 

To the Guide, you will then pay the difference according to the group's actual size.

We can't guarantee group size, you could even end up with all attention just for you! Cool
