    • APT (Azienda Promozione Turistica): Via Parigi 11 (off Piazza della Repubblica). You need to go in person to inquiry about anything happening in Rome, to collect maps, brochures, calendar of events, etc. Very friendly staff.

Alternatively, you can visit the tourist point of the Comune di Roma, at Via Leopardi 24. 00185 Roma, or go directly to the Comune di Roma, Ufficio Turistico, Piazza del Campidoglio 1, 00186 Roma.

    • Buses and metro trains run from 5.50 a.m. to 12.00 midnight.

You need to buy tickets at metro stations or newspaper kiosks/tobacconists before you board on.
